Micro-message  news, Micron Technology CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said bluntly when he  accepted the Nikkei news recently that he wanted to enter the global  market with high barriers to major memory chip suppliers. China's memory  chip makers are major manufacturers such as Micron, Samsung and SK  Hynix. It does not pose a threat.

The CEO of Micron Technology pointed out that Chinese manufacturers  are still at a very early stage in the development of NAND and DRAM.

The  CEO of Micron Technology said: "To become an important supplier, you  must have cutting-edge technology, intellectual property, mass  production and product design and specifications that meet the needs of  customers, and you must have high quality; these require a lot of  amazing strength. It takes decades for other manufacturers to have such strength."

Micron Technology CEO emphasized the importance of patents and other intellectual property rights. He said: “Large customers in the world must be aware that the products  they purchase are designed after obtaining legal intellectual property  rights, but the intellectual property rights of Chinese manufacturers in  DRAM or NAND are very weak.”

Micron Technology's CEO admits that China is an important market for  Micron, Micron has many large-scale Chinese customers, and Micron is  investing in back-end packaging and testing plants in Xi’an.

He is optimistic about the prospects for the price of memory chips, because the market cycle will be shortened. He  expects the market's demand for DRAM and NAND to be the best ever,  including huge demands from data centers, mobile phones, personal  computers, automobiles, smart appliances, and smart cities.
